Dr Bei holds a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) and a PhD from University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research and clinical work focus on the individual differences in sleep-wake behaviours, the relationship between sleep, circadian rhythm, and mental health, and psychological interventions for better sleep. She is a Clinical Psychologist and Research Lead at Monash University Healthy Sleep Clinic, a multidisciplinary outpatient sleep service that integrates clinical care, research, and training in behavioural sleep medicine.
